We’re Vinny Sisson and Adam Deierling - filmmakers based in Ohio and the team behind The Obsidian Mirror.

We’ve been making films for years, figuring it out as we go, wearing a lot of hats, and building stories from the ground up. Our last feature, The Other Side of Darkness, was made possible with support from fans like you and went on to reach millions of viewers worldwide. That experience proved something we’ve always believed: great stories don’t come from big budgets… they come from committed people.

That’s what this project is.

The Obsidian Mirror is being built the same way—through collaboration, persistence, and a team of incredibly talented people who believe in what we’re making. From actors and crew to artists, musicians, and post-production specialists, this film exists because of a collective effort. It really does take a village.

This merch store is part of that process.

Every purchase you make here directly supports the completion of the film—helping fund visual effects, sound design, score, and finishing costs as we push toward release. Independent films don’t have the backing of major studios, which means every bit of support actually matters. It’s not abstract—it’s real, and it goes straight into the work.
